PRE-PURCHASE EXAMS

These exams are utilized to determine the medical condition of a horse at the time of the exam and the probability that the horse can perform the job that is expected. This is accomplished through a thorough physical exam as well as an extensive gait evaluation involving limb palpation, flexion tests, hoof testers and watching the horse move on hard and soft ground, looking for lameness or asymmetry.

This exam may include other ancillary tests ie. Radiographs, Blood Work, Drug Screens, Endoscopy, and/or Ultrasound.
