REFERRING VETERINARIANS

Thank you for visiting our website.

We have expanded our services by building a surgical facility and hospital, which gives us the capabilities of offering you an alternative referral center closer to you in the lower mainland. Our hospital is open 24-7 for all types of cases, whether medical, surgical, lameness investigations or any other need.

As part of our team, we have added Dr. Antonio Cruz, Dipl. ACVS, to head the hospital services. In addition, we have access to the services of Dr. Debbie Parsons, Dipl. ACVIM, Dr. Craig Mosley, Dipl. ACVA, Dr. Marnie Ford, Dipl. ACVO and Dr. Charlotte Keller, Dipl. ACVO.

We hope we can serve you and your clients better by offering a wide range of advanced diagnostics, procedures and specialist advice.

We also welcome any emergency referrals whether they are medical or surgical colics, fractures, lacerations, or any other case that you consider might need hospital care. To access our hospital staff after-hours, simply call 604-856-3351 and request the answering service to transfer you to the on-call hospital staff.

For regular referrals and second opinions, please contact the office at any time during regular business hours, where one of our office personnel will direct your call or answer any questions you may have. We offer all types of surgical or medical procedures, ranging from closed castrations, cryptorchids, neurectomies to more complex surgeries such as tie-forwards, arthroscopies, bursoscopies or arthrodesis.

To facilitate the referral process at your end and help us, we have created a Referral Form (Word Doc) for your convenience. This form can be printed and faxed to us at 604-856-2676 or filled in on the computer and e-mailed to us at admin@pmvetservices.com.

During the referral process you will be informed of our findings as the case progresses. Once the referral process is completed, you will receive a letter summarizing our findings, procedures and details of the at-home care required so you can follow the case from beginning to end. Please indicate on the referral form your preferred method of contact.
